Professional / Career Coaching

An engagement involving three parties; the client, the coach and the hiring organization. Professional career coaching will often be a part of a ‘professional development’ program. The structural set-up of the coaching relationship, with a third party (the coach) within the organization, is specific to each relationship. The career coach is hired as an objective party to support the employee in identifying his/hers goals and continuous support for professional growth, success and balance.

AiM Coaching’s Approach

The definitions of what coaching is are many. However, the coaching approach used by AiM Coaching, aligns with that of the International Coaching Federation’s:

“Coaching is an on-going relationship which focuses on clients taking action toward the realization of their visions, goals and desires. Coaching uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build the client’s level of awareness and responsibility and provides the client with structure, support and feedback. The coaching process helps clients both define and achieve professional and personal goals faster and with more ease then would be possible otherwise.” – ICF

AiM Coaching also employ the proven Co-Active Coaching methodology, as taught by CTI (the Coaches Training Institute). In short, Co-Active coaching is a unique and collaborative process where the relationship between the client and the coach serves to promote action and awareness. It provides an empowering environment of continuous awareness learning, growth and forward movement, where our ‘being’ (who we are and our purpose) serves as the catalyst and driver for our ‘doing’ (actions).
